The high altitude of the Naramata Mountain side may offer stunning views of the Okanagan Valley, yet it also poses challenges like snow, extreme heat, wind and the risk of fire. The design of the residence takes in consideration this factors. The corten steel cladding, the elevated living quarters, the steel perforated stairs - they all help protect the home from potential risks.

This assignment for Ema Peter was such a pleasure, and what a wonderful project.
